Taste of OTR is returning this Saturday in Washington Park! Some of the best local bands in Cincinnati are playing along with The Ballroom Thieves. Don’t miss a great day of FREE music, food, and local craft beer.

The Ballroom Thieves are an adept melding of roots, indie folk and symphonic strains. Comprised of Martin Earley (guitar), Devin Mauch (percussion) and Calin Peters (cello), (they all sing). The trio blend folk conventions with modern hymnals, delta blues grit with rich harmonies, exploring the basic constructions of pop music while almost wholeheartedly rejecting its restrictions at the same time.

The Taste of OTR was created in 2013 by Tender Mercies, a non-profit organization that provides permanent supportive housing to homeless adults with mental illness.

Benefiting the approximately 200 men and women whose lives are transformed at Tender Mercies each year, this event is a must-attend celebration of OTR’s renewed economic and cultural vibrancy.

Featuring OTR restaurants, local craft beer, and live music, the Taste has raised over $150,000 and continues to grow each year. A VIP tent features select tastings, complimentary beverages, and private seating.
