When the leaves start to fall from the trees, my music playlists switch from upbeat to more mellow. While jam bands, EDM, hip-hop, and faster feminist rock rule my summer months, folk, alt-country, and singer-songwriter music creeps its way back into the prominent position on my playlists.
With WNKU not around any longer (yes, I’m still sad), my Spotify account has taken over the airwaves in my car. Playlists are king in my internet listening world. I curate them carefully and then shuffle the heck out of it.
