Plan Your Summer at Riverbend Music Center

Riverbend Music Center opened in 1984 and has a capacity of 20,500. Originally built for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra to play outdoors in the summer months. The venue’s first performance was by Erich Kunzel & The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, with special guests Ella Fitzgerald and Neil Armstrong, on July 4, 1984!

In 2008, Riverbend opened an additional 4100 seat pavilion, which is now called PNC Pavilion (fka National City Pavilion). PNC Pavilion is adjacent to the current box office. The first performance at PNC Pavilion was Over The Rhine, in which they played their entire Ohio album on May 24, 2008.

Is it really even summer if you don’t spend most of your evenings dancing on the lawn of Riverbend or in the pavilion? I think not.

This season is impressive and has something for everyone. The 1975Vampire Weekend, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, The Righteous Brothers, Heart, MOE., Beck with Cage the Elephant, Iron Maiden, Jason Aldean, KISS, Kid Rock, Dierks Bentley and SO many more!

Riverbend Music Center and PNC Pavilion now have an app to stay on top of the latest concerts, view concert details, buy tickets, add concerts to your calendar, set reminders, get directions, view seating charts, and get emergency notifications. You can also join Riverbend Rewards to earn points redeemable for prizes & exclusive opportunities! WHAT?!
